Is anyone familiar with the Memorial Park location? Is it possible to catch the action from a boat or just the shore? Are there any places nearby to wakeboard? My sister lives in Denver so I was thinking about making the drive to see her and catch the event. It's like a 12 hour drive so I wasn't going to bring my boat unless it's worth it.

There is a lake called prospect lake in memorial park I think that is were they would have it but I'm not sure it does not look big enough to have other boats on there during the event but I could be wrong.

I live in the Springs. It is a small lake. Should have no problem watching from the shore. If anyone is coming down to see it hit me up.

I'll be in Colorado Springs during June and Fort Worth during July. Awesome, exactly opposite of the tour

we ride prospect lake, it is small and definetly will be closed to other boats during the event, but the shoreline is great. the lake is small enough you can walk around the whole lake in just a couple of minutes. the closest place to stay is the Hilton in downtown colorado springs.

Hey Ryan. How do you get on Prospect Lake to ride? Is there a membership or something? I'm new to CO and am having a terrible time finding decent water.

They have a few passes available each year. you can get them for $150. right on the lake there is an aquatics club and you can get them in there. The hours are pretty restricted, sometimes for pwc sometimes for fisherman and other times for the ski boats, but we have made it work for us, just have to fill in using pueblo resevoir sometimes.

Sounds like the party is at Mike's house in the Springs! I'll take a spot on the floor!
