Hopefully someone will know how to fix this problem. I have an '04 Supra Launch SS with the factory two tank ballast. For some reason the front ballast will not drain, but the back one still works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this or should I contact my dealer?

Thanks.

Checked the fuses?

The pump runs but I haven't checked the fuses. I just assumed the fuses were o.k. since the pump was running.

do you have a reversable pump? Or two separate pumps, one in one out?

Double check to make sure you don't have a gate valve on it? this could be either manual or electric. If it is closed you will not be able to drain.

Have you removed the sac recently?

If so, (and maybe even if you haven't), air sometimes gets trapped in the lines. Next time you are out fill the sac at least 3/4 full, flip the switch to drain the sac and then go stand on the sac until you see water spitting out.

Sometimes when air gets trapped in the line you have to force water through the line to get the air out. By standing on the sac you are more or less priming the pump by forcing water through it.

This happens all the time on my '04 SSV, usually when I remove the sac from the compartment though (air gets in the line after removing the sac).

Under the dash(if it's set up like mine), on the left side behind the ignition will be three fuses. They are for the empty on all three ballast bags. Sometimes the front ballast fuse becomes unclipped (top fuse) because the wire is taunt and rough water can cause it to become undone.

Are you hearing the front pump?

Thanks everybody. Richard, I did what you said and it drained. I really appreciate everybody's help. I'm glad that is all it was.
