Our Sanger came with an "Air Time" extended pylon, and a Skylon four board rack. I am going to have to cut a slice in the Bimini Top for the Pylon to go through and will probably have to do the same in the front of the top for the Pylon bow strap. I figure on putting zippers in the canvas to facilitate the openings. The rack is where I am going to have a problem. I think (am sure) that there is going to be an interference problem between the boards in the rack and the tow rope if I put the rack above the Bimini, and it will be useless and right in the way if I put it below. Cutting a 10x10 hole in the top would allow me to bring it down some, but I still wonder about clearance. The Skylon holds the boards on a 45, and I have considered buying a rack that holds them level. How much vertical clearance from the boards/rack to the pick up point of the rope do I need to avoid a problem with the rope when somebody is riding? This would all be a moot point if I could make the Monster Tower happen this year, but I don't think that is going to happen until summer '06. Any thoughts?
