My boat doesn't have a cigarette lighter, so I bought the accessory adapter that connects to a 12 volt battery. Does it make a difference what kind of battery? I bought one that is supposed to be used for lanterns.
Your supposed to hook it up to the main batt. Your going to drain that lantern batt in no time. You should have extra spots open on your fuse block. Just run the wires to that and install a fuse.
