Can anyone tell us if there are places to wakeboard around Beaufort SC.

All help appreciated but it has to be fresh water.

Any advise on places to stay would be cool also.

Tim,
I really don't know of any great places to ride at Beaufort, but I do know of some about an hour away. I'm sure the drive is a big turn off, but Bushy Park near Charleston is great almost all of the time. Especially, early and late. It's like glass. It's also fairly wide in most spots, and the 'gators leave you alone. If you're interested, let me know and I can give you detailed directions. I will also look up some places in Beaufort. I'm sure they've got to exist.

Thanks Jesi.

We are traveling home from Cashiers NC Monday or Tuesday and are stopping in Beaufort for a nephews boot camp graduation ceremony on Thursday and Friday. We have a day or so to kill so an hour is no big deal. We would like to locate a hotel near a place to ride. If you could give us a little more information I would appreciate it very much.

thanks,

Tim

I did look around in Beaufort, but I think that all you are going to find is salt/brakish water, and alot of stumps. The place near Charleston is in the city of Goose Creek and is called Bushy Park. That's where we ride regularly. I will look up hotels. I think most of the ones worth staying at are about a ten minute ride from Bushy Park. I will let you know about the hotels. What kind of hotel were you looking to stay at?

Jesi,

I appreciate the offer but do not wish to make you work to help me find a hotel. I can do a lookup in Goose Creek. Thanks so much for the help. If we make it in on Tuesday can we offer you a ride with us? We always have room for one or two more.

Jesi,

Thanks for the help. We will be in Goose Creek Monday PM and all day Tuesday. As I said we have room for a couple more people easy. If you and a friend would like to go wakeboarding give us a call at 321-298-7056 afternoon Monday or Tuesday.

Also any tips on Bushy Park?

thanks,

Tim
