Finally saw one on the Delta Yesterday and it looked GOOD!
I spent all of Spring ride in one with Adam and I really like this boat. I hope to see more on the water and might even look into one for the 2010 season. The wake was looking good on the one yesterday.

That is Mark But****a's (Speedy) new boat, and it is absolutely beautiful. I think that Scott and Andrea took some pictures of it on the water yesterday so maybe they will post a few.

The plug and play ballast bags hadn't been delivered yet, so we ran three 500 lbs sacs in the boat on top of the stock 900 lbs, the wedge, and 400 lbs of lead. The wake was awesome.

The boat is very spacious, has plenty of power to move the weight, and handles boat rollers with ease. When fully loaded we were able to take a direct roller from the CIE bonecrusher boat without getting swamped. That was a nice change.

Great decision on your boat Mark. I can't wait to try it out again next weekend.

Thor,

I can’t agree more on the looks of the boat the color combination was awesome. Subtle yet bold in one shot.

Thanks guys, I love the new boat. still working out the speed and weight, but it is a nice boat. Anyone in the market should take a serious look at the Axis. I just talked to Neptunes and I should have the stereo set up by the weekend.

Definitely a sweet boat, with PLENTY of room. The wake was awesome, and easy to drive when pulling a rider. Can't wait to ride behind it again. Just got a partial thinking about it

Thanks Jim. The only thing I kept from my old boat is my HSE tower speakers. They should be getting installed as we speak.

That's cool, can't wait to see it on an Axis.. It is a white box?

So sick... those cupholders on the sunpad are perfect! What a great idea. Hmm how can I mod my boat now.. haha.

What's the black patterned things below the seats? Is that 'open' to the storage somehow, to let it breath or just decoration?
Old     (nate01)      Join Date: Jun 2009       09-30-2009, 11:04 PM Reply

We are in the market for a new boat. Does anyone know if there are any dealers in the LA, Orange County area that have any in stock? I would like to check one out.
Old     (speedy)      Join Date: Apr 2002       10-01-2009, 12:41 PM Reply
Jim, yes it's white.
Stuey, yes the kick panels have holes for ventalation.

You know what I love about the Axis boats, no stupid Pylon behind the backseat!
Old     (westsidarider)      Join Date: Feb 2003       10-01-2009, 3:12 PM Reply
yea thats nice but there is no where to mount the stripper pole with out that pylon back there. the tower mounted ones dont provide enough room or line of sight for other spectators
