I doubt Shawn Watson designed a board for any company other than Liquid Force... but I'd get the board anyways cause the graphics are so legit

Anybody heard anything about Randall having a pro model next year? I'd be interested in trying it out, I know he rides big, long boards and I'm on the larger side or wakeboarders.

Plus, I'll be going into ACL surgery here in a few weeks so maybe a softer landing boards might be a good idea next season.

If you want softer landings i would stay clear of flex...

Unless you agree with the "well you just have to land a little heaver on your back foot" argument.

Riley have you got a chance to ride a slingshot or Co. board?

You shouldnt buy a board because the graphics are cool thats what most chicks do.

I have ridden tons of different boards from every co out there. I have never had a board land softer or more forgiving than both of my slingshots.

yes randall is getting his own pro model next season. and riley if you land right with the tail down first flex boards have really soft landings. but we know until hyperlite makes a flex board similar to company or slingshot you wont believe the hype.

on a side not riley how can i get a blown up shot of randall throwing that method like 15 to 20 feel high already like 5 to 10 feet into the flats?

Demoed the severance a couple of weeks ago. Amazing board. I currently ride the Ibex, but as soon as the funds become available, I'm getting the severance. Super smooth feel, great pop and soft landings. Demo this board if you can. It'll take a couple of sets to get the feel for what it can do.

I also ride an Ibex, and after a set on my buddy's Company I have to admit that I really liked the board, and flex is fun. I am not going to run out and buy a Company, but I do like the feel of the board and the amount of pop I can get. I can say nothing for the landings as I never took it to the flats.

I ride the super limited which is the same as the severence and it's an awesome board all around.

I ride the Watson (08 ltd - for sale on here...) and have recently tested the severance...WOW...amazing, hence both my Watson's are for sale!!!! I NEED that board, I went out the first time I rode it and it was like an old friend straight away, landed everything I know without falling!! Don't get me wrong, I love the Watson, but the Severance is definitely the next step!!

Just try one out, if it suits you then great, if not then at least you know!!

Dave, I would go with the Severance if I were you. I feel like I get way more pop and softer landings on that board.

And I saw this about Randalls pro model board for 2010, sounds like its going to be a crazy cool!

nice twitter post, cant wait for the 2010 company stuff its gonna be sick!

The severance shape is just a fun board, plain and simple. Gets a nice edge on, lands soft if you know how, and the flex is enough to be fun but not so much that it compromises your riding.

Nick are you implying I am girl because I like all the pretty colors on my board?

Jeremy are you talking about the shot of Randall on my site?

Hey Nick, play nicely. No need to bash on the ladies.

nah i was wondering if you have ridden a flex board ie co. or slingshot.

Becky not bashing it takes a lot to get chicks to see past the graphics. My girl knows better but still picks up the cute one first
