Does Correct Craft generally offer any boat show incentives that would make it worth my while to wait for the upcoming boat show to buy a new boat?

Im not sure where you live but to answer your question, yes they do. Im in california and the boat show is in jan or feb and I think I saved 4k plus they throw in anchor bumpers ropes ect. it's worth waiting. What boat are you looking at, the guy I bought my 06 from is now a friend. Might be able to hook you up.

You can negotiate anytime of the year. Right before the boat show they have probably not sold a boat for well over a month. Most people do not buy boats in the winter.

Anchors, oar, lifejackets, etc. really do not add up to much. Now wakeboards, bindings, ropes, etc. do. They still make at least 20% on trading product instead of a discount and are generally more willing to trade at list price.

I would think that they would. It's funny because I was just talking about this to my bud yesterday.
He has a chain of marinas in Florida and they just had the Miami Boat Show.

I asked him "Can you get a good deal at a boat show." He answered "Hell yes, I am there to sell boats".

He spent $250K to have a booth there of which manufacturers paid about 1/2. He sold $6,500,000 worth of boats with help from the manufacturer’s incentives. His market is the 30-45” center console open fish.

Here's what to do:

Go to the boat show opening day. Dealers who haven't sold too many over the winter, and who have shelled out some serious scrilla for the show will be making their best deals then, they will be anxious to start moving boats. If you wait 'til the end of the show, the dealers may not have much incentive to make killer deals after they have already locked 100+ units...

I got better incentives last Novemeber on my new boat than they offered @ the boat show in Jan/Feb. That said, the boat show offers were worth it also.

I know that last year all the western dealers got promo boats at discount right before the show..

When I purchased my boat at the 1995 boat show in Pleasanton they offerred $5k in promo options. You had your choice of bimini, tower racks, tower speakers, boat cover, and lots of other goodies. It made the deal negotiation free.

It's a good time to buy

Doug, That's a dumb comment.

Looks like I made a typo, lets change that 1995 to 2005, $5k off does not equal retail.

Yes, I received a free Ipod as well.

When I bought my SANTE in 2003 (at the Pleasanton Boat Show) there were several incentives to buy from the boat show. There was a $1000 rebate from the factory, a better price on the "team edition" version of the boat, both of which were factory incentives.

In addition to the factory the dealer threw in a few things, such as dock lines, fenders, bimini, mooring cover, etc.

A buddy of mine was quoted $53,850 for an 07 220 SAN w/ trailer as soon as it comes in. So with the shows around the corner, it looks like the deals will be flying like flags....

That sounds like an awesome price. Is that the SE, or the TE? .. I'm just wondering, because I love the new 210, and the 220. I've read here and on PN, that they will have similar prices.

Your right TB, from here it's just an hour away. Who wouldnt travel an hour or so to pick up their new boat if they needed to.
