Has anyone been successful at running wire through a extreme phat tower? I have tower speakers and would like to hear some ideas.

put a lite string through the speaker wire hole near where you are planning on mounting the speakers (plug other holes) and stick a vacuum down near the base where the wires will exit the tower. The vacuum will suck the string through - tie your wiring to the end and pull on through. WUALLA!

IF the tubing is a single piece! you may have to drill out and re-enter the tower where joints in the tower and hinges are. IIRC that tower has several bends and welds on sides.

I have a Phat Tower, and the Vacuum works well. You also have to run the wires into and then out and back into the different sections. My wires exit the top of the deck near the front of the left leg and enter about 2" up on the bottom of the leg. They exit near the top of that section and re-enter slightly above the joint. Then they run internally all the way up to the top cross bar and exit at the connection points where my speakers are mounted. Where the wires exit and re-enter the tubing, I have about a 3" run of exposed wires covered by plastic wire loom.
