I want to buy myself a Sea-Doo Xp and i was wondering if it would be strong enough to drag and lift up a wakeboarder behind it ?

First question is why? It will pull a person up w/o much hesitation. Depending on where you are using it it maybe illegal to pull a skier. In Florida when a PWC is used to pull a skier a 3 seater must be used if you read the LAW carefully. A driver, and observer and a seat for a fallen or injured skier, in other words a 3 seater. If you are using a 2 seater with a observer and the skier is injured where would that person go... leave him/her out in the middle of the lake? If you are trying to save a few bucks go buy a clean 13 foot Boston Whaler with a 40 HP motor. You won't loose a penny on the boat when you go to resell it. Plenty of room... enough power and a better wake than a Seadoo.

well im already buying a sea-doo and Im a wakeboarder so i was just wondering if it would be strong enough , my dad has already a nice boat so having a sea-doo that would be able to pull a wakeboard would be like a bonus. I come from Canada and yes its illegal without a three seater but where my camp is its only a small lake it would be just for fun on week-ends I wouldnt use it just for that, just maybe try it a couple of times. thx for your reply

Sure, haven't you ever seen the wakeskate competitions using the squirters for tow?

In Tennessee it's legal as long as it has mirror's. If you don't have mirrors, there needs to be a third. Not sure how it is in other states.
