Anybody that has this boat (and there should be plenty) I'm wondering how long it is with the trailer and swim platform? Then with the platform taken off, and finally with swing tounge removed?

Reason I ask is I'm looking at picking one up (a 99) and I'm also moving soon. Was wondering what my storage requirements should be as I will want to keep it inside if I get it.

Some of the places I'm looking to rent have spacious garages, wondering if it'll be enough though.

Thanks as always for the help

To be more specific. I'm looking at a 99 Sunsetter VLX. I know there should be plenty of people that have/had one out there cause this boat was basically unchanged from 97 to 05.

Thanks

If the trailer is like mine, the break away tongue breaks right underneath the bow stop. If so, the boat on the trailer with the platform on would be around 23 feet long. 21 feet and around 3 inches with the platform removed. The speedo pickup tubes stick out a little.

On my '98 VLX with a DHM tandem trailer (tongue broken away), I need 21'-8", assuming the Wedge is folded down and the deck is removed.

You can probably save ~2" if you don't have the Wedge or if you remove the foil completely.

Mine (04 Wakesetter) barely fits in a 24' deep (measured on the outside) garage, without the swim platform and drop down tongue.
