Gets delivered today. Shocked at some of the aggressive deals out there today. Coming out of a 211 team into this boat. The size reminds me of my Supra 21V.

Ian,
thanks on the compliments on the 211, my wife picks out the colors on all boats.

I sold my 211 within 3 days on your site for asking price, could not believe it.

Coinless,
lets just say if you are in a position to buy a boat right now make a dealer an offer and you will be surprised.

Beautiful boat. Am I the only person on here who LIKES the FCT3? I think it complements the lines of the new 210 perfectly. Also great seating. I have no plans to upgrade from my 81 'Tique, but that boat (and the 211) are beauties. Congratulations!

That boat is sick!!!!! The tower is really growing on me. How is the wake compared to the old 210. Although the old 210 is the largest wake I have seen I didn't like it because it was so steep. How does the new wake compare? Really nice looking boat. Nautique has done great with this boat!

Nice boat! I dig the new tower and I am a picky SOB. I dig all the rear faced seating too. The wake is great too.

The only wish the boat was more simple and more comfortable. The interior is complex and blocky. I am also not a fan of the scalloped rear transom. Its also uncomfortable.

The new 210 wake is great. Its less extreme than the old 210 but still vert (not too rampy). I only wish the wake was easier to build -- e.g. 1800 lbs of purevert stock ballast.

hydrogate?
Old     (wakeborder5)      Join Date: Jun 2002       07-17-2009, 5:06 PM Reply
Its either like the wedge or a wakeplate..I think it's more like a wakeplate
Old     (laptom)      Join Date: Apr 2002       07-18-2009, 3:31 AM Reply
Hydrogate is something different then a wedge or wakeplate.
The wedge is only a small plate which can be lowered or raised a single inch at the back of the boat to change the running surface/hull characteristics of the boat.
This way the wake can be shaped a little bit more rampy or vert. It doesn't change a lot, but enough.

Btw... Very nice boat!!
Old     (john211)      Join Date: Aug 2008       07-18-2009, 10:33 AM Reply
Yea nautique hulls with the hyrdrogate do not have a V-shaped keel at the transom, but instead an inverted channel (or, and inverted-U shaped tunnel). The hydrogate is an inverted, adjustable weir at the end of that inverted channel, opening or blocking it, and anywhere in between.

Just cruise down and glance at the bottom four pictures.

Check your speaker wiring, my guess would be the factory wired it wrong. They don't quite understand the ramifications of those 2.7 ohm speakers and how the change impacts the amp load.

Oh yeah, congratulations, beautiful boat.

Mike,
from the factory they bridged the tower and they clipped quite easy. There fix for the recall is not sufficient. I rewired back to a 2.7 load and works fine. the boat from the factory needs two more channels or an individual sub amp.
