Pretty sweet trick compilation here:

My question is, how fast do you have to be going to pull an invert in the flats like that? Is it possible at 20mph? I've got to try that next time out! :-)

typically an Air Roll style trick has less to do with boat speed and more to do with a rapid edge change to get the pop.

You should see detention. Shaun Murray does a whirlybird in the flats, no wake or rollers.

I'm going to try a front roll in the flags next time out. Can anyone give any tips on how to change edge and get some pop like that in the flats?

In the vid above they call it a back roll, but I swear he rotates to the front. :-)

I usually teach air rolls a little slower. It lets you sit a little deeper and build a bigger wedge between you and the boat.

Air tricks may not be the coolest, but I think every good rider should have a few in their bag. I've seen air mobe 5s, air crowmobes and air fronts over stacked canoes. Even an air front backside mobe (I've never seen that off the wake). Air tricks are a lot of fun to goof with and a way to break-up the wake to wake tricks. Air tricks done well have become a lost art.

An air frontroll will be tough.

Any tips on any air tricks would be appreciated! At 2:30 in the video above he does what they call an "air backroll" but I swear it looks like he flips frontward to me.
