finally my boat is done. i put a remanufactured engine in(thanks nacho for your help) and i got the upholstery redone too. the upholstery cost me 350 in materials in which i got at cost and i spent 400 in labor. i took all the pieces to mexico and just reinstalled them today. its not perfect but im hoping the upholstery will stretch and settle in a little with time. i was quoted 3k in the US and paid a total of 750. so while im not 100 percent satisfied with the outcome i keep telling myself i saved 2300 bucks. the engine cost me about 1500 i took the old one out and put the new one in to save on labor. i got it fired up last night and broke in the camshaft. im going to take it to the river tomorrow to tool around. its supposed to be 81 tomorrow.
