Mark B, The methods in the link above are not uncomfortable at all as long as you use the right concentration of salt. I did try it with regular Morton table salt once and it seemed to be a little irritating. Now I use some sea salt and it's all good. It may seem like some crazy hippie practice (some of the other stuff on the first site is a little weird) but if you have crap in your sinuses that needs to come out, this is the way to go. My nose used to be stuffy for days after getting some lake water in there. The methods above completely cured that. I also have a really bad runny nose and itchy throat sometimes (like when I inhale massive amounts of pollen from doing work outside while the oaks in my front yard are coating everything in sight with a thick layer of yellow dust). If I just do that stuff after I come inside, I'm good. If I don't, I could be feeing it for days.
