CW is an innovator. Style is mack.

Dykmans was looking solid as usual. Who stuck the pete early on?

Trever Maur deserves some big ups for the vid.

C-dubs kills it. I love to watch his riding. It reminds me of Greg Nacrasson in the Super Squirt days.

Wow! That's one of the coolest things I've ever seen done on the water. I love guys like Chris that are out there under the radar and just innovating like crazy!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that even closer to being a 5 with a rewind 3? NUTS!!
Old     (blake_hughes)      Join Date: May 2004 Location: Weatherford, Texas       01-28-2009, 10:12 AM Reply
That's crazy... But impressive as crap! How in the world did he come up with that?
Old     (andy_nintzel)      Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Minnesnowda       01-28-2009, 10:13 AM Reply
David-

I think it was closer to 5 than 3 too. MAN I agree I love Dudes Like Chris Williams, Colin Ryan, Matt Simms, that are just under the Radar Pushing this sport and pumping innovation of new moves.

Honestly when it comes to sports like wakeboarding I swear some people are visionaries and other just follow (nothing wrong with either one). I would have to say Chris Williams is a Visionary for sure.

Chris is the man, and VERY glad to see him ripping again.

However, I believe that Ryan Eberhart actually did this a couple years ago. I think.

you are right Brandon. I was just about to say the same thing. Ryan (spin2win here on WW) was working on that trick a while back.
either way, C-Dubs is a ripper.

That, to me, one guy, is just absolutely freaking awesome and is on a level that I don't find too often.

I love the 1080's, the 12's and whatever follows from these amazing riders... but holy ****. A wrapped, grabbed O/A 3 to blind 180... good God.

Good God. Amazing.

J-rod that was Dan Bright on the hoochie, Blake Cannon did the pete, and yes Dykmans was riding smooth as usual.

I'd thought about a move like that but had never seen it actually done.

That's some skill there...

lets see the footage of spin2win doing it. i wonder if they look the same. it seems like that trick would be near impossible without a double up seeing that chris barely had time to make it around.
Old     (srh00z)      Join Date: Jun 2003       01-28-2009, 7:22 PM Reply
That was a great vid and looked like everybody three down. The three to rewind was amazing, a trick that you could only do in wakeboarding. As a side note, that is the best looking Tomcat that I have seen, I don't usually like the graphics, but the color combo on that boat looked good.

Thanks guys for the shout out. I remember when Chris and I were talking about that move. I did it w2w before chris however i dont know if i was the first and well i suck But dubs killed it off the double up. Sick bro.... I think the BEST name for the trick is the 3-2-1. BTW where has dubs been I havnt heard him speak in a while.

Old     (bbr)      Join Date: Apr 2002       01-28-2009, 8:51 PM Reply
Bought a lake? Dayum. Yeah let me know. You'll have to make it up this way this year and hang with us in Bakodise!

C-dubs has been here in Canyon Lake for a while. He's nursing a broken foot.
Old     (hsryan33)      Join Date: Jan 2009       01-28-2009, 9:17 PM Reply
if you can do that trick w2w how come your not winning the pro tour or in some videos! lets see some footage to verify this otherwise i can do speedballs w2w. i swear
Old     (rnopr8)      Join Date: Apr 2005       01-28-2009, 9:52 PM Reply
Ryan...not everyone with sic talent like Chris wants to do the pro tour.
Old     (bailey)      Join Date: May 2001       01-28-2009, 10:50 PM Reply
I have to admit that was an innovative trick. The rewind is cool but that almost looked like a backroll to blind. Pretty far off axis but still cool. A totally flat spin would be ultra cool.
Old     (spin2win)      Join Date: Feb 2006       01-29-2009, 8:05 AM Reply
Socal mob, I never said that he should be riding the tour, I was just wondering where he has been.... Sorry to offend you..
Old     (spin2win)      Join Date: Feb 2006       01-29-2009, 8:07 AM Reply
wait oops. I dont think that was directed to me. my bad.

Me?? Offended???

That was pretty insane. I wish they would have put rider names before each one of their sections.
Old     (hsryan33)      Join Date: Jan 2009       01-29-2009, 10:47 AM Reply
spin2win i did not mean to come off that way but i would like to see the footage of your version. it sounds awesome and i am sure others would like viewing that trick done without a double up too! link?

I think C-dubs could hang on the PWT with or without that move. He's got a full bag!
