Hi everyone, I'm looking to buy a newish boat to tow the kids around (almost teenagers) on kneeboards and wakeboards. We aren't professionals, but enjoy the sport. Looking seriously at a late 2000's Sanger v210. Just wondering if anyone can tell me a bit about them and if I'm going to be happy. They seem to be a fair bit cheaper that a similar Malibu or Mastercraft. Thanks

great all around boat for the $$$. the biggest beef people have with these boats is the amount of freeboard they have. they sit pretty low in the water. doesn't bother me much but some people it does. the v210 throws a great wake with 12-1500 lbs. Great first v-drive boat imo

Ya, Sanger has been around along time, make a great, solid boat! Their flagship might be the v215! We have a v230 and love it!

The last of the family owned old school, boat companies. Since Correct Craft sold out, all that is left is Sanger. The Davidson's are awesome and build an awesome boat. One of often overlooked details with the Sanger is great fuel economy.

I wonder why that is? Hull design maybe?

Narrow beam and semi-v through the full length of the hull makes the boat sit deeper in the water with less weight = lower running costs. I have a trim plate on mine to assist on plane up and it is ridiculously good on gas.

You will find that the majority of Sanger owners love them! They don't add a ton of extras, but you know that the boat in 10 years will perform just like it did the day you bought it. The V210 is a great all around boat. I'm on my 4th Sanger! (DXII, SangAir, V237, V230).

Buy one, you'll love it. You will only have an issue with freeboard if you have close to 2k in ballast loaded with 7+ people. Great quality boat with an awesome wake.

The wake is awesome. I stumbled on Sanger because there was a great condition used one at the same dealer where I was looking at a similarly priced direct drive Air Nautique. Went with the V210 Sanger and am sooooo happy I did. Still enjoying it 400 super-fun hours later.

If your buying used IMO the best bang for the buck out there and they're holding value pretty well. If I was buying new I would look into the V215 which will probably be my next boat once I upgrade. Like what was stated above, it just has a clean simple look and is sexy looking on the water. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Anyone know of any for sale? Looking around the California area, up to about $28,000. Seen 1 on boattrader, 1 on craigslist. Like the 2007 on craigslist, but I think it is sold.

Thanks for that, I did look at those ones on craigslist. Unfortunately I'm in Melbourne, but I have a contact in CA who can look at them for me. He will travel for me to have a look.

I have a 2007 V210. I have a family of 4 and we always bring several more with us. The 210 is a fantastic boat and we were able to buy a newer boat for the price we paid. If you can find one, buy it! Also, I have called Sanger directly for a few questions and parts. They are great to deal with and the parts department is great. Go for it.

I have a buddie in CO that has a 02 that he will be listing shortly... Not sure what his asking price will be. He's on here under Victor Imondi but haven't seen him post to much since he moved from UT to CO.
