Just finished some teak transom protectors for my SAN. Cut the pcs. out of 2x4 solid teak and matched the contour of the transom. The cut out on the bottom is perfect shape to hold the board.

Very nice and great work!!! I had a friend make mine out of Corian counter top material. Every time I look or use them I like them more and more.

MC offers as option currently. Although I don't believe they have the built in lip. Good idea guys, and both look great.

Thanks, I used to own an MC and really liked the idea. The corian protectors look great, they would also look good on a composite step.
