When it comes to the 360's I can get around and pass the hanle, but they look really bad. It's like i'm doing it in slow motion. I don't have that quick snap around look that they're supposed to have. Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

practice directly behind the boat going about 10-12 mph. Then take your fins off and do them in the flats - start with long slides, then pass the handle and pull it around...

Thanks David,
I'll practice that- good idea to practice going slower. Should I take all my fins off or just the big middle fin? Cuz if I take them all off I'm practically on a wakeskate?

Clay,
I don't have molded in fins. I have two little ones with one big one in the middle- all screw on and off. I have the hyperlite belmont. At the moment i removed the big middle fin and left the two smaller ones for surface tricks. Will this still work for wakejumps or do I need to put the middle one back on?

the better you are on your edge the less fin you will need for wake jumps! its all about preference, on the cable i ride a smaller board with the fins in and behind the boat i go to a bigger board and have less fins because i find it more forgiving!!

When it comes to surface tricks, one thing you really REALLY need to remember is to not dive that edge into the water. Last year, just goofing around, and I caught my toe edge coming around and WHACK! I never thought my face could ever hurt that much.
