Thanks for the pics, I wish I lived a little closer so I could go. How did the LF teams feel, I have a pair ordered for me. Im not feeling the crossbone x-star but the airbrushed skulls on it look sick.

Yea the airbrushed skulls do look awesome, but I don't like the colour choice or the cross bones with yellow. Plus, over 70k for a boat is ridicoulous.

Great photos Joe. X-Star was overdone IMO.... Then again, the boat that caught my eye the most(aesthetics only) was the Nautique Air 206...sharp and clean. Remember...boat show price of 73 K with the MCX... E.J.

I like the X-Star bones logo. The whole paint job is pretty cool compared to the typical tribal stuff.

What X-Star? I refuse to even look when it has a price tag like that. Give me a break. It's a ski boat on roids. Not worth $80,000.

Does anyone else think that $5,700 is just a little high for a trailer. I think they know that most people will finance and would rather add that to the tab then spend $3,000 out of pocket and buy the trailer separately.

IMO, SANGER WINS! Really, its such a better value, its pretty hard to consider any other boat! Geeze, the Sanger wake is as good as any and the price is simply amazing (because all of the other boats have gotten so expensive).

I don't understand why someone would spend that kind of money on a boat. 80 grand???? There are soooo many other good, quality boats with sick wakes out there. I agree with most, ridiculous price tag!!!! Oh, and the graphics on the X-Star are fugly!!

That SO-CAL edition X Star looked bad ass in person. I'm not much for Mastercraft, but I was filthy rich, I would have bought if for sure. 95K for a boat is a little much since I'm not filthy rich.

My bad, you guys clearly have better taste then me (exhibit A, my vanilla ride). I retract all positive things said about SoCal X-Star. Must be them roots I got by learning to ski behind a flat-bottom Kachina. However, I've realized that the X-Star bones logo was actually derived from a sequence pic of a naked backroll. Note the same sack being slung in four directions at once. It's kinda like the Everybody Loves Raymond where they realize that the sculpture looks like a pink tweeter. Just don't see how everybody can bash that paint job when there's all them other boats with REAL offshore graphics like the MB boat with cheap imitation Magic Powerboat graphics, the crazy green Calabria, the nasty Pimp My Ride triple-axle BU, etc., etc. The SANs are classic. In a good way. Some of the BUs and Centurions look pretty clean, too. Love that flame embroidery (don't want it, but appreciate it, just like the sac-flying MC.)

32K for a V210 Sanger with all that stuff is a smoking deal. If I was in the market for a new boat, I think I'd be stopping there for sure.

Seriosuly i dont understand what can make an x Star so expensive, what does it have that is so good, do they jack up the price just for the hell of it, or because they spend so much more on advertising, i mean i was watching a saturn comercial the other day and there was an x star in it.

Colin ~ your boat cost your Dad about 50k plus. It's not even the "flagship" boat that Nauti makes. Now if you look at the boat show price on the X-star above it says 67k. If you were to put all those bell and whistles on your boat I think it would be over 60k easy. Now Nauti has not changed there hull in years and they are still charging an arm and a leg for the 210. MC put allot of R&D into this NEW hull and need to collect on it now. The real question is why does Nauti charge 60K for a boat that has not changed in years. I will tell you the answer... Because it's worth it and they can! Sorry for the hijack.

The sticker was 65 The only option we dont have is the heater....we got 11 g's off. And the 211 is a new hull...in my opinion the x star hull is merely a gimmic, mastercraft always put form before function. I think the x star is an awesome looking boat, but i rode behind one 2 weeks ago, and the wake was wayyyy smaller than mine with stock ballast.

The $70K just means that MC either doesn't want to build 412,000 boats per year, or they're REEEEALLY smart and know that $70K will sell just the right amount of boats to maximize profit without really expanding in a risky way. Another thing, the saying goes that the Vette sells a lot of sedans. The coolest thing is that the higher the X-Star and SANs go, the better the used market gets for us owners and for the more value-minded manufacturers.

Thanks Joe, It's just like being there....only not. The boats and their graphix are getting better each year, the prices are killing me. I love the Byerly bindings with the gator skin wrap, also the LF (Transit or Sphynx?) with the leather. I love leather. Is anybody else getting the itch?

Xstar, SAN, Blah blah the battle continues.... the x-star is a fine specimen of a wakeboard boat and I can say this confidently as a 210 owner. SAN will continue to sell with old hull designs for 60k bc they are badass ergonomic boats with distinguished layouts. I will take the interior of my 210 of an x-star anyday althoguh I would have to contest when it comes to wake size. In my honest opinion the classiest and sexiest looking boat of the pics above that caught my eye and surprisingly no one elses is the all white 21 Supra SSV with black trim. scroll back up and tell me that thing is not ill?

imo, if they can take the interior/storage space of the x-star and combine it w/ the wake of the san, you got yourself a perfect boat! disclaimer: i'm not knockin' the xstar wake at all...weighted properly, it has a sick ass wake!

"looks like tige is triing to copy malibu" I agree to an extent. Skiworld sold their most expensive X-star ever at 91,000 last week. I wonder if the proud, new owner can ride? Not a fan of those X-star graphics

That Xstar at the show had airbrushed graphics, tons of hours just in the paint etc, it was a great show piece for their display. Wether you loved it or hated it, you are talking about it and that is why it was built. im sure someone bought it. post some more pics yo
