No AUX - - DIN input for satelite radio hookup?

For decks that don't have AUX or Line-In inputs, but have a DIN input for CD changer -- can the DIN input be used to hook up a satellite radio?

Was hoping to get a "real" hookup and not have to use a FM station...

If the plugs match, then yeah plug satellite right to the back of the reciever, otherwise maybe a plug adapter is needed.

Depending on what deck it is. Most manufactures, as well as a few aftermarket ones offer Aux input adapters that function through the din input.

Ok. Thanks. Boat deck is Clarion. Are the DIN pins generic positions or do the adapters need to be brand-specific?

For the car's Alpine deck, I think this Ai-Net to AUX should work? (Deck has this input.)

And for the Clarion I found this thing when searching, but a bit pricey. Do I need the fancy signal thing to trick the deck to stick with the input signal from the "cd changer"/satellite radio. Thx.

I tried to ask these questions at the local Best Buy install shop, but they didn't know what a DIN input was...
