Not trying to know this guy or anything because I sure would not do that. But this is similar to the Travis Pastrana jump at new years. Everything is going to be calculated for him. Probably impossible for the chute to not deploy. But props to him it is nuts!

How do you surpass the terminal velocity? Watching this I was trying to figure out how the guy will actually be able to break the speed of sound.

He can break the sound barrier because the atmosphere is so thin where he is jumping from. This is crazy!
