Just came across some houseboats deals. Hope it helps someone out.

Seven Crown Resorts:

Found this in the mercury news:

We have a houseboat vacation planned at Shasta in June through Seven Crowns out of Bridge Bay, made it a couple weeks ago and they honored the gas voucher for me. $500 of gas will definitely help.

Can anyone give a rundown of the best of Oroville, Berryessa, Don Pedro and Trinity for houseboating, taking into account the need to rent a wakeboard boat as well. Sometime toward the middle of August.

Thanks

Garen, If you are coming from Colorado then Berryessa would be closest to the Bay Area and Airports. I own a houseboat there and keep it at the Forever Resorts Marina. I am very familiar with the houseboats they rent and they are all very nice. Also, once you get out on the lake you will find as much privacy as you want with plenty of nice water during the week.

Air Again,

thanks, I will actually be coming from Seattle (on my way back to Colorado.) I grew up in California and will be meeting some people from both the bay area as well as southern california, so location isn't that crucial. I'm more interested in adv/disadv of each lake, given that we don't own a wakeboat and need to rent one.

I do greatly appreciate the info on the actual boats that we would be looking at.

Thanks again

FYI... The deal in the mercury with forever resorts is a mis-print its 1,995 not 1,195. BAHHH
