casting fins

anyone casting their favorite fins. new guy at work does casting , molds and will teach me how.

Cool! You'll enjoy the process. The mold building stuff is pretty easy. Then pour in some milled fiber and resin - pretty straight forward to duplicate a fin.

I've been wanting to lighten up some fins...use Corecell as a filler and then glass up around that before foiling.

i am just looking to reduce cost in the long run , and color them in lime green

my guy said that we would make it out of some 2 part plastic, didnt ask what kind .
