Can anyone show me some pictures or tell me how the Sky Supreme ballast system works and if they have any issues with this setup. I want to install a similar ballast setup in my 2003 Supreme V220SP. Any suggestions on the install would be helpful as well. I've found a lot of good information on WW.

thanks

Hey Frank.

I have the following.

Two standard hard tanks in the rear two lockers. They came stock.

Then I added two more 750lbs bags on top of those.

And in the bow I have two 600lbs under the front seats... and a 500 under the bow filler cushion.

I use the Jabsco Ballast Puppy pumps.. which you will read some have had a lot of problems with them... but I have been pretty lucky.

I built two manifolds for them. So I can fill or empty each sack or tank.

Total weight approx 3500-3800lbs.

Changed prop to acme 3 blade 10.5 pitch... out of the hole and holds speed no prob!!!!

I will be moving my pumps to underneath the back seat with impellor access facing inside the boat... make for easy in and out changes...

Wow now that's some serious weight! I bet your wake is huge! Do you have to flip any valves with the stock ballast? What does your manifold look like?

thanks for the response.

I had 2000 lbs in it today and the wake was freakin huge. My wife was driving and she said it was a big fat pig. Then we drained the ballast and she ripped my arms out. I'd be divorced if I was pushing 4k.

you never got on plane cuz that boat with any motor cant do it

honestly, supremes have a wake like most super air when weighted. those boats NEED weight in the bow for sure.

How much weight should I put in front to balance it out. I had the ProX V drive sacks (400lbs ea.) and I put 150 lbs of lead in the front. My passengers wanted to hang out in the back seat, so that was another 350lbs.

I'll have to take some pictures next time we go out. I'm going to add more weight to the front to see if I can balance it out some more. The wake was pretty nice except we had to ride at 25mph

I'm running with 400 lbs. in each rear locker on top of the stock ballast, putting it at 1400 lbs in the rear. I also have the 700 lbs sack in the bow underneath the seats.
