if I am not, I guess I am not surprised. classy dude got run off a crappy team because he is a criminal, and a cancer with his teammates.
Just becauce he looks like a criminal in his nfl head shot doesn't mean he actually is. I would do whatever could to get run out of Buffalo if I was an NFL player. Talk about a garbage franchise is a boring city. His youtube video's are awesome. He is ridiculously sarcastic and actually pretty funny. He is going to get hyphy on dem Bear's Sunday. We got a date with destiny and redemption. Hasselbeck wants to get back at the Packers from when he made his famous "we are going to take the ball and we are going to score" line and we also need to get back at the Steelers for paying off the refs and stealing a super bowl from us.

Yeah, I think the cancer is Buffalo, not Lynch. He seems to be fitting in pretty good with the USC Seahawks!!!

and that is the first thing that pops up on google. I did not say he was a criminal because he looks like one, I said that because he is one. agreed that buffalo is a sad franchise now, but if he ran himself out, I have even less respect for him now than ever before.

Here are my picks:

Atlanta over GB
Baltimore over Pitt
NE over NYJ
Chicago over Seattle

I won't be surprised if Pitt beats Balt or Seattle beats Chicago, as I expect these games to be close. I don't think people are giving the Falcons enough credit, and didn't they already beat the Pack this year? It would be a huge upset if the Jets beat the Pats, especially with all of the fuel the Jets have been tossing on the fire.

Way to go Housh!

Now blame it on your qb like you always do.

Baltimore gave that game away.

Taking Green Bay, Pats and My Hawks for the rest of the weekend.

horrible play calling by Baltimore on that last possesion. you had to know Pitt was not going to just roll over after that first half. good tough playoff football was played today though.
and yes Eric, I agree. as are a few of the Ravens.

well i'm at 50% for saturday. thats kinda like how the ravens played, half the game . pittsburgh put something in the water in the visitor locker room to create turnovers. it worked. green bay is a MACHINE i think they will win the superbowl if rodgers stays healthy.

^I don't think GB can beat NE, but I think they will win the NFC.

Pittsburgh was handed the game. The Ravens D was solid, but their offense left them out on the field too long in the 2nd half. When the game is on the line, you can't have the ball in Flacco's hand, he is just too immature. The Ravens have no one to blame but themselves, Troy P was a non-factor and they should have continued to try to expose him. And you can bet your ass Brady and the Pats will.

i think brady is the class of the afc . rodgers is the class of the nfc now compare the defenses edge to green bay compare the offenses run game about even short pass game pats deep pass game green bay intermediate pass game green bay. special teams even . points come out of the passing game . quick points come from the deep pass game .edge green bay .pressure on the qb edge green bay. plus rodgers is way more mobile than brady edge green bay.cornerbacks edge green bay.GREEN BAY ALL THE WAY!

Ahhh the haterade is flowing in here.....Steelers whoop the Ravens a$$ yet again....It's not playoff football unless the Steelers are punking the Ravens. And Woodley and Hines are jokes?? Ha Ha The Ravens talked crap all week including their dumba$$ coach. The smack talking bullies got punched right in the nose once again. And what does Ray Ray do afterwords?
Throws his teammates under the bus. Talk about a clown. At least the Steelers live and die as a team. Now the only downside is the only thing as sure as the Steelers beating the Ravens in January is the Pats beating the Steelers......GO J-E-T-S!! Not holding out a lot of hope for that one. Ha Ha
No matter what happens next week at least the whining ravens and their crying fans will be watching on their couches.

And as far as the Polamalu comments...yeah he had a sub-par game. In case you haven't noticed he has an achilles injury he has been dealing with for weeks. Nowhere near 100%.
Still able to lay a lick on Heap to save a possible touchdown, and just being on the field makes the Steelers a much more agressive defense. I guess you were trying to say he is overrated?

Ha Ha Ha! Good one

No, I was just saying he was a non-factor in the game. I guess you missed the play where Rice bulldozed him on his way to the endzone. Brady will pick him apart.

Nope...watched the whole game and I am sure Troy would be the first to tell you that he had a sub-par game....just the kind of guy he is. That being said the Steelers defense is 100% better when he is on the field. Brady may pick him apart...we will see. He is definitely a step slower with his injury but nobody can question his motor. The Pats have owned the Steelers in the playoffs in the past as I admitted earlier. Pittsburgh will have to play a perfect game to beat them at home for sure.

I hope Ray Rice enjoys watching reruns of his bulldozing of Polamalu during the offseason.
Maybe he and Ray Lewis can make up after Lewis threw the Ravens offense under the bus during his interview after the game?

"At least the Steelers live and die as a team"

haha. this comment made me laugh. where were Big Bens teamates after he got punched in the mouth by Richard Seymour earlier this year? both teams have some serious clowns on them.

Bears looked good today. Cutler was on his game. should be a great NFC Champ. game next weekend.

Laugh all you want...they play as a team and never point fingers after a loss. And guess what...they are still playing next week. I guess you conveniently missed Kemoeatu running over
and shoving Seymour(and getting a personal foul penalty as well) immediately after the sucker
punch? Most of the players didn't even see the punch or even knew what was going on it happened so fast and was such a cheap shot. They were looking towards the endzone at the touchdown pass that Ben had just thrown. What else should he have done? Throw another punch and get himself ejected? Fortunately he was smarter than that, and the loser Raiders got their a$$es handed to them once again.
Old     (wake77)      Join Date: Jan 2009       01-16-2011, 2:12 PM Reply
They deserve to be thrown under the bus. The D gave them the game, the offense simply had to hold onto the ball. An offense with less than 100 yds and because of your defense you have a 21-7 lead? Big Ben was spending more time on his back than a porn star. So what do you do, start turning the ball over? With that kind of offensive performance any D would have thrown their offense under the bus, including the Steelers, and rightfully so.

Holy crap were the Hawks not redy to play a game today. They looked terrible the first half. They got absolutely torched by Olsen which is terrible and let Cutler run at will when they actually covered the receivers.

That is a loser mentality...what good comes from pointing fingers after a loss? The game is over, you didn't get it done. Why didn't the vaunted defense stop Pittsburgh on 3 and 19 on the game winning drive? Why didn't the vaunted defense keep Mendenhall out of the endzone? There are always more plays that can be made on the field. Bottom line is the Steelers got dominated in the first half, made adjustments, and dominated the second half. End of story. I love how when a team falls apart with turnovers and poor play it is always "they handed the game away". I guess Pittsburgh didn't put any guys on the other side of the ball and the Raven offense just made all of those mistakes by themselves...whatever. Cry that crap to someone else.

TIM chill you haven't lost yet. oh thats right you haven't even played yet. guys like you that talk all that BIG TALK are ALWAYS trying to make up for your short comings.sorry you have THAT problem.i think the ravens played a excellent 1st half and just relaxed too much. then when pittsburgh did TAKE their gifts and turn them into points. ray had a right to be upset. REMEMBER the JETS ripped your team a new one in PITTSBURGH in front of thousands of disapointed fans. i guess you think since they manhandled the MEN in new england that they won't be able to handle the BOYS in pittsburgh.i know polamalu didn't play in that game and brad smith got a [lucky] skillful return for a touchdown.there i've used all your excuses up. now what will you say when the jets change your diapers again in YOUR house in front of your wife and kids.HOW EMBARRASING!NOW IF THATS NOT SMACK TALK I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS.

Never saw the Jets as a threat to Brady. Man... guess they deserve respect after that game!

Hawks looked weak today. We were behind so fast we never had a chance to establish a running game. Matt was throwing damn near perfect. Wasn't his fault our receivers couldn't handle a rough Bears defense. In a weird way I'm Kinda relieved we lost. Better to lose on the road and call it a season than to win just to get throttled back in our house next week.

Chicago is going to get punished next week.

Jets / Steelers game should be really fun to watch.

I'm picking the Pac to take it all.

Ha Ha! Robert you are funny! So what big talk have I talked? All I did is defend my team when I see people not giving them any credit
for a big win. The Ravens are the ones who talked crap all week before the game and then squeal like little school girls when they get punched
in the face. It's not the Steelers fault that someone forgot to notify Ray-Ray and the rest of the Ravens that football games consist of 2 halves instead of just one. And the Jets ripped Pittsburgh a new one? Really....did you watch the game? They won by 5 and survived only
after Ben drove them the length of the field and had two shots into the endzone from the 10 yard line come up short. The Jets won that game fair and square
and might possiby win next week too. If so hats off to them. I don't have a problem with the Jets.
This was an awesome weekend for me because the sorry a$$ Ravens got sent home and the Patriots will not be hoisting any trophies this year.

MAYBE I can MAKE up FOR my so called "SHORTCOMINGS" that you accuse me of HAVING if I used ALL CAPS on randomly SELECTED words like you ROBBIE.
And as far as being embarrassed if the Steelers "get there diapers changed again" I think I will be fine. We will still have 6 Lombardi Trophies to look at
and think about old times. If the Jets lose....well they can always find broadway Joe and have a drink with him.

the Jets are reminding me of the Colts the year they won it all. erasing bad playoff memories by beating all their nemisis' in one postseason. I was thinking last years NFC championship was going to be one of the best, but this years is shaping up to be pretty darn good. Rodgers is playing like the best QB in football right now, and looks to be on track to where many of the experts predicted at the beginning of the year.

okay my picks for this week and why i pick them. the jets over the squealers , because jets fly and squealers cry. the packers over the bears because aaron rodgers is the man and cutler only thinks he can.there you have it. if this comes true this will be the first time in superbowl history two #6 seeds are in. in this crazy year of football it shouldn't be a suprise.

I am going with Packers Steelers but wouldn't be surprised at all if it's Bears and Jets. Been a wacky playoffs so far. I still can't believe the Steelers get a home game this weekend instead of playing at New England. (which would have sucked because the Pats own Pittsburgh in the playoffs) And don't worry Robert, the "Squealers" have a plan for the Jets. They are going to trade the terrible towels for big pink foam feet just for this game complete with red toenail polish!
Rexie will be so beside himself coaching will be the last thing on his mind!

Woohooo....back to the big game! Congrats to the Jets for not quitting and making
a heck of a comeback....knew they would. I wasn't the least bit relaxed at halftime with that lead.

I think the Steelers were wise to pass on third down instead of being conservative with the run on that final drive. No way they could give the Jets the ball back with any amount of time the way
they were playing. They needed to be the agressor and make a play in that situatiion and came through.

Losing Pouncey will be a big blow in 2 weeks for this team. Congrats to the Packers and looking forward to a great game. (one that ends with superbowl championship #7 of course)

Cutler sure came through for his team.

Bad enough he left the game, but the way he just sat around on the sideline like a log really shows his complete lack of passion for his team and the game.

I knew the Pac would win but I was still surprised at how well Chicago's defense stood up against Rogers.

Too bad the Jets slept through the first half. Two years in row has to hurt.

Still think the Pac is going to take it all.

would you have been able to compete with a torn MCL Cliff?? my initial thoughts after his injury was that he looked disinterested in even trying to make a comeback, but then I realized he always looks like that. when his teammates backed his toughness after the game, that satisfied me enough to know he was way too injured to be anything but a liability to his team.

should be a good game. too very tough teams. I think Rodgers has the nod playing on the turf though. I cant wait to see Mike Wallace running down a 60 yard bomb by roethlisberger though.

As a starting qb and team leader My arse would have been way more involved in the game than he was after he went out. A leader doesn't plop his butt on the bench and go blank faced just because he's injured. They were playing for the friggen NFC championship for crying out loud!

The QB has not been the leadership position in Chicago since, well ever. One could argue the 85 Bears, but I didn't really see Jim M. as the "leader" per se. Urlacher is the leader of that team, and he said some pretty complimentary things about Cutler. Urlacher has spent exponentially more time with the man, the rest of us are armchair QB's and Monday morning analysts, and Urlacher said Cutler is tough, it's enough for me.

Yeah, Young is gone. Mike Keith, the announcer for the Titans was on the radio today (a local sports talk show) and said the GM is still firm on VY not returning. I don't know who is going to replace Fisher, many rumors circulating, but hopefully it will be someone with some cred.

The O-line coach's name was mentioned. And then the usual suspects Cowher and Gruden.

I wouldn't suspect that Fisher will be coaching anywhere next season. I think that there are a couple of teams that would have loved to have interviewed Fisher before they hired their new coaches, namely; Cleveland, Miami, Denver, and maybe Dallas. (Don't read into that I am saying that Fisher is better than any of the coaches for those teams) I think Fisher maybe an announcer for next season and then prob. get a coaching gig at the end of the next season. Depending on the year USC has this year, maybe Kiffin will be fired (a Tennessee fan's dream come true) and Fisher could be the next HC. At that point USC would be off probation and hoping to make a run and Fisher would be high on the candidate list. Or if Del Rio has another bad season with the Jags????????

less than a day till the superbowl.who do all you wakeworlders think will win? i think the team with the most points at the end of the game will win and the OTHER team can cry foul all year. that's what always happens.

I can't think of another SB in recent years where the winner was not almost guaranteed. of course, the outcome was not always what everyone expected, but the experts seem to be pretty split this year. I like Aaron Rodgers, but my in-laws are from Wisconsin, so I wont hear the end of it if they win this year. I honestly just hope it is a good game.
my best guess would be Packers 27, Steelers 21. with 2 defensive touchdowns in the game.

Its sure was a good half... but the pack have a way of just sort of giving away games.

Hopefully some of those guys make it back on the field..... I just hope Clay gets a chance to rape the **** out of Big Ben

Here comes the refs in the second half to try to give this game to the Steelers. Typical for the Steelers to have their help!

THE MOST AWESOME WIN I'VE EVER SEEN IN SUPERBOWL HISTORY! the green bay packers DOMINATED one catagory the score. that's the most important catagory.oh they also dominated the TURNOVER differential.+3. the last time the steelers had a -3 turnover ratio they lost to the COWBOYS in superbowl 30 . the score then was 27-17. today it was 31-25.the best part was ben ben coming up short[thats what the women he raped said]on his winning drive.he was able to mount a game winning drive against the ravens and jets but not today .a higher power must have intervened. but the good news for steelers fans is the terrible towels they brought to the game could be used to wipe their tears.all the BIG TALK of 7 super bowls and we will be AMERICAS TEAM and so on . what they forgot is they were playing in AMERICAS TEAMS house . also a higher power was watching over his teams house and made sure the team with the most talent and purest hearts won.also worth noting was this was the first game in steeler superbowl history where they brought their own referees and still lost.AS A MATTER OF FACT THEY NEVER EVEN LEAD.oh i was wrong they lead in # of turnovers all day and night.

Ha Ha Ha! Good one
speaking of a NON FACTOR. polamalu was EXPOSED twice for td's. he did make a good hit though. once the td was in hand he layed a little too late hit.the facts are green bay and pittsburgh both had key players injured before the game. both teams had key players injured during the game.pittsburgh played one less game than green bay and big ben played 5 less games than aarron rodgers.GREEN BAY lead the whole 60 minutes.GREEN BAYS defense was the only defense to make a stop when the game was on the line.i guess all this proves is NFC RULES THE AFC once again the TOUGHER team with the bigger HEART and the more focused minds WON!

I don't know if I will be talking much SMACK next year. I am a bit pessimistic with the Titan's choice for HC. Does anyone's team need another fan?
