ICERAIR 08 (Got wake ?)

It looks like the ICERAIR event date is set for Oct 18. Anyone know if there will be wakeboarding this year ?

Crap!!!!! Last I talked to them It was either the 18th or the 25th. I wish it was the 25th because Dew Tour is the 18th and that means we missing some of the big names BMX and Skateboarders. And I have a Bass TOC that weekend.....lol... But thats life, They doubled the size of the BMX skatepark contest I am building/running. I have some good ideas for the setup ad it will be a good show for sure. I want to enter the double up contest if Josh can beat the system and pull it off this year. It will be a good event this year, I think the Snowboard jump and major bands will be in the LOT A with the BMX/skate contest and Moto X shows. So you dont habve to keep going back and forth.

Someone should organize the wakeboarding D-up contest again for this event.

Missed the last couple but after hearing all the stories from last year there aint anyway im missing this one!

I'm diggin the IcerAir, I brought my family to the last 2 events. It gets better everytime. Hope to meet some more WW cats there.

Went last year and it was alot of fun. Try and make it back this year, who has free passes? hook it up.

Might go this year...but can't if it's on a Saturday. I think that's when it was held last year? Sounds like it's changed a TON from when I went there last! haha...

There is no wakeboarding for the event scheduled yet.. I know smith is trying to get it worked out. If I hear anything I'll let you guys know.

pre - during - and after events are all a good time...!

If the layout is the same as last year (with the motoX and skate/bmx park right next door to the Stadium it's going to be greeeeaaaat!

ICER should have enough pull to get the permit for the DubUp Contest!

Yes they have enough pull to get permits - wanting to put a budget out for it is a different story

Yeah I am getting my crew a couple of rooms. we will being building the park set up starting the wednesday before. tearing down on the sunday. And a whole lot of fun in between.

I lobbied for wakeboarding in this years IcerAir, and they are discussing it with the money people. I said to have DRA put it on. They sounded interested but you never know. I will let you guys know what they said.

Josh Smith called me this weekend. He is really trying to get a rail jam contest together for Icer Air. He said the permits for McCovey cove are really hard to get. And the best bet for a wake event is a rail Jam. So I wam going to lobby to Icer Air peeps for him to ge this thing going. He has sponsonrs and has the capabilities to pull it off. I will Keep everybody posted.

I think its all canceled except for th eski/snowboard jump and concert.

I was wrong Bike and skate contest is ON and I think Josh Smith is doing the rail jam. It is going to be sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
