Alright, I've got an '11 a20 with the 335 motor and live in Illinois. I have the plug n play system with 750's in the rear and an extra triangle bow sac up front for roughly 3500lbs of water ballast. The problem is, with my current prop the acme 1873 (14.5 *12), I have to drain the rears to get on plane . I also have the wedge, but can't even use it b/c i can't get on plane either. I want to reprop for some more out of the hole pull, and be able to fill all bags and use the wedge. Is this possible with the 335 motor? Do any fellow a20 owners run this weight? And what props are you running to get on plane?

Go to ACME's website, and use their performance template, and send them a request for their recommendation. They are very quick getting back to you, and you can input all your data, so they can guide you to the best prop for your boat, engine, and conditions.

Get the OJ 5-blade. A few of us already have it and even on the A22 with 3500lbs and wedge have no problem getting on plane faster than stock prop or even better than the Acme 1235. plus with the 5-blade we Axis owners are seeing a significant reduction in RPMs at riding speeds. Oh, and I have an extra sac for the bow so I can run 4000lbs if needed but I usually don't fill the rear 750's up all the way. I do fill the extra bow sac though which helps firm up the wake and keeps the bow down a little more

I have the OJ Cinco. Been running it for 35 or so hours with the exact ballast you are running. Can't comment on other props as mine came with the acme 537 prop. I have NO problems with hole shot with, or without wedge. It's also easier on the engine as the rpms at 20-22 are in the 3100 range.
I made a post on here and the Axis forum with vids. Search for the OJ 5 blade and see my comments and other users.
