When will (or did) your riding season end? Mention your location too.

Here in NJ I'll be winterizing the boat before Oct. 31st, but hope to ride with some others a few times in Nov.

Season ended on Saturday in Northern Michigan. I would still be riding but I have to work in VA until the middle of December. Did trunk it in 54 degree water though.

Season never ends in Sacramento but most people go to Tahoe instead of the lake during the coldest months. I try and do both depending on snow conditions and know others that go wakin way more than snowboarding in the winter.

Last year in NC I rode well up to december without a wetsuit(heated lake, Belews). We kept the boat in the garage and didn't winterize it until mid december just before christmas brake.

My last ride in Alberta, Canada, was in the last week of August. You could have rode longer but i had to go back to university.

Went out for our last set yesterday Oct 12 in Bellingham, WA. It was sunny and 56 degrees. It was a good day, not just a quick set. We launched at 11am and rode until 5:30.

my season never ends...actually my riding time increases more in the winter than the summer. we spend more time hanging in the summer. winter time there is no one out there and the water is all yours. put a wetsuit on, its like a layer of blubber. you can slam all you want and it doesnt hurt

Central Arkansas the temps are still in low 80s and high 70s and the water is mid 70s. Mid to late November it will probably be too cold to ride.

When I broke my leg on the river the second weekend in september, otherwise in Sacramento with a Drysuit it never ends.

I rode on Saturday here in Ontario Canada, but I think that'll be it for the season. It was nice and sunny with the water around 58. Could probably still go a couple more weekends with the weather we've been having but I doubt I'll be heading to the cottage from university again before it's snowy.

Here in Muskoka... boarded on sat, sun and monday... water went from 58 to about 61 by the end of the weekend.. air temps about 70-72 degress and glass all weekend long!

Now sat and sunday morning I did some scuba diving in Lake simcoe off big bay point.... that was a little chill with the water being 54 degrees! 7mm wetsuit aided a bit, but after a 30 min dive I was cold.

shoot, all you guys are way luckier than i am. We pulled everything out and shut everything down on Labor day this year at Cedar Lake (yeah i know what color it is). Usually its a week or two after that but this year that was the date everyone was available to pull the darn boat lifts out.

I told my dad a brand new automatic boat lift would cost less to maintain and would be a better investment than a hot tub. But i guess i could you a large body of water to test the buoyancy of my boards over the winter.

Hey Jeff,

I remember those pics of the VT boat in the Wash Post last year where everyone was wrapped in blankets & beanies. I think all you guys did was surf that day. Looked like fun...not really.

I managed to ride every month last year except February (they shut the reactors down for 2 weeks and Lake Anna get f'n cold). I'll probably only go through November this year & give my body a chance to rest.

Me and Paul wakeboarded that day, Brian had a broken foot that's why he was surfing. Gotta love warm side of lake Anna, I gotta make it up there and ride with you all sometime.

I am in favor of more nuclear power, warmer water for all.

Delta water temp is 60 right now.

A few more degrees down, and I'll shift my focus toward other sports for the winter.
