This truck was unveiled yesterday at the LA Auto Show. From the initial comments i'm seeing, people either seem to love it or hate it. I think it's actually a really sharp looking truck. The styling's not "avante guarde", but Toyota styling never is. A few of the nice differentiators that come standard or as option on this thing:

-independent front & rear suspension
-bluetooth (I point out b/c it's not on the GM full size utes, which sucks)
-heated and ventilated seats
-the 5.7 liter motor an 6 speed tranny from the Tundra
-adjustable second row seats (love this feature)
-10k towing capability
-fold flat 2nd and 3rd rows

Downside is that Toyota quality ratings have definitely taken a hit the past year or so, and th Tundra had some definite issues.

I'm looking forward to checking it out at the SF Auto Show next week. Pricing not yet available...

I think I saw this on the road yesterday in the San Jose area? It was either this, or a newly redesigned Highlander or 4Runner. The rear end looked like it would fit the design of this Sequoia, though. Looked pretty good whatever it was, but I didn't get too good of a look at it.

wasn't the Sequoia they don't even get to the dealers until end of December early January. They don't even have prices available yet or anything

looks good! bet it will pull like a champ with new engine and tranny.

Platinum trim is a little over the top, but I'm sure they'll sell.

air suspension for the rear is an option, standard in at least the platinum level, possibly the Limited too. Not sure on that one.

I like it, think it looks really sharp. since the tundra is supposedly having a diesel then could there be a chance that this might have it also? that would be killer

Looks like a durango...o wait, the new tundra looks like the ram......Whats new? I will never buy a toyota, unless it is a supra.

There are sightings of this vehicle all over the place so you probably did see one. They have a ride leveling system for Toyota's always sagging butt. I like this one but diesel I would love.

I'm with Jason on this one. The Sequoia looks like a big bloated Durango and the Tundra looks like a Ram. Blah !!!

I like the look of the interior and exterior... however I don't think I would have much use for such a huge SUV...

What's an SUV for?

Same pwr train as the Tundra... which kicks butt. Looks a little on the boring side, but then there's way too mayn bling'd out H2s and 'burbs running around here anyway.

Toyotas always seem to be kinda boring looking, but quality is typically higher... trade off.
