Is it true you can't have a weighted down boat in Canyon Lake?

Not sure Funkster but I do know the boat can be no longer than 21 feet. Some strange rules they have.

Funkster?

By the way, my sister (lives in Irvine) says she has access to Canyon Lake. She might be able to hook me up w/ pulls there. I hope the boats are weighted!

Joe, on the main lake there is no wake enhancement allowed, and boats up to 21.5' are only allowed. The backwater at Canyon is unrestricted for weight (as far as I know ?)

tahoe,

Do you ride there? When I get down there, we gotta hook up (finally) and do some riding! I wanna see your products, too!

I've mooched some pulls from Jeff on his new Super (which btw ROCKS) and Steve L. on his Air Warrior. I don't live in Canyon (it's a private community) so we usually take our Pro-V out to Elsinore, Perris, or the Colorado River.

I'd be more than happy to show you some of our new stuff we have coming out soon. You moving back down here or just visiting?

I'll be on an extended visit. I'll fill you in later.

Joe,
Welcome Back. Wake Products (tahoe) is correct about the weighted boats in Canyon Lake. The main lake you technically can't use weight. I use the weight in my boat but it is all hidden. The back water is unrestricted to weight. The backwater is much better for riding as well, only 2 boats at a time. I do think the boat size limit is 21' though not 21' unless the rules changed this year.

Jeff,
Did you make it out on Monday? Hopefully I'll be able to get out on the water with you soon. As for the rain I just hope we don't get as much as we did last year. I remember the backwater and main lake being one and the tunnel was basically closed for any kind of boat with a tower on it.

Yes, I'm back! Thanks for welcoming me back!

Richard B., tahoe, Jeff, I'm expecting some pulls when I get down there!

Ok, maybe "expecting" isn't the word. How 'bout "begging"?

Joe we should be able to hook something up. Jeff's my neighbor and tahoe (who I do not think I have met) lives pretty close by, hopefully we can all go out one day or two.

When are you coming back to cali?

Richard - Saturday and Monday were absolutely epic! Looked for you Monday morning on the way to the ramp, but the Avalanche was gone, sorry we missed you.

Joe - Cool! So Cal sucks as far as good riding water available, but we have the "not so secret" spot going for us. It's on!

Man, I'm totally stoked on SoCal now! (sorry for the use of that word)

Hahn, you took off early though! What, the girls weren't good enough for you?
