What do you think is the best non-cga vest and why.

the best has to be the JP baller, super comfy and floats almost as good as CGA vest! the only vest I ride with

Take a look at the Jetpilot A-10 comp (side entry) vest. Super comfy fit and doesn't restrict movement. There is a reason why it is the best selling vest out of the JP lineup year after year. I like them all so it is tough to say which one is the best. O'Neill Vapor, Hyperlite Comp 5 to 10, Liquid Force Henshaw Comp, Jet Pilot Falcon, and Quiksilver Ignite Comp. They all fit a little differently so every different body type can be accommodated. If you have a local pro shop go in and try some on.
