I am more wondering if anybody has ridden behind the X-14V and what the wakeboard wake is like.

Also wondering what the differences are from 07 X-Stars to now are.

thanks, Chris

No real differences between the 07 to 09's... I think the VDIG is the biggest difference...

07 xstar to now differences:
VDIG lcd display on 08 and 09
ipod hookup is different
Interior vinyl design is different
gauges are slightly different
Stainless cup holders now
fold down platform now
tower braces are built in now as standard

i'm sure that there are some other differences, but I can't think of them now.

I don't know of anyone thats ridden the X-14V but all around I think it is going to be an awesome boat. My speculation is that it will have a wake similar to the X-1 so a little more vert than the X-Star and will have a phenominal ski and barefoot wake. Rough water ride is not as smooth as the X-Star due to a flatter hull surface. I have driven this boat and it will cruise through its own waves pretty well but not quite as nice as the Star.

As a pure wake machine you really can't go wrong with the X-Star, this is still my favorite boat in the lineup. Changes from 07' have pretty much been stated, the new interior looks a lot nicer in my opinion and I really like the VDIG, its not necessary but I like it. If you don't ski I would go the X-Star route.

I wonder what the wakeboard wake will look like on the 14v now that there is more weight in the rear and there are storage lockers giving the ability to add supp. ballast. If it had the board wake of the x1 and I could empty the ballast, throw out the boom and foot at dusk I think I may like that.
