I just recently picked up a 2-channel 250 watt amp for the subs. I am wondering if it is better to have 1-12" sub powered by bridging the two channels=250 watts, or having 2-12" subs at 125 watts each. Which will produce better bass?

I would say to Bridge the Amp and go with a single Sub. However like Sandy asked it depends on the type of sub if you really want to go with two. 10" subs may be a better solution for running two also.
