I tried the Prodigy and had one of my best sets ever. It was fast and smooth on the landings. Coming from a 3-stage board, I was pleased with the pop on the prodigy.

If your like the continuous pop, and not everybody does, go with the TFD. It's fast reacting and has a grippy landing.

Ridden, a trip, ridden a prodigy...I own 2 TFD's. J-rod is right, the Prodigy is smooth and fast. Very stiff, good pop and you can slide it around easily, landings are a bit stiff at times due to the spine and rocker. Trip, decent board, soft, good pop, fun to ride. TFD...Bling Bling! Responsive, smooth, great pop, soft landings with the rocker and deep spine, bear-hugs the water with 1.1" fins, easy to play on with .7"s. Best board I've ever ridden...period!

Love the TFD! Make it a light as a Liquid Force and theres no stopping it! Or bring the price on the DNA way down.
