Seen it..... I have four 8" Dbot5 speakers, 2 SkySki racks & wakeboard racks for 4 boards, plus the mirror & bimini. I have to admit though, I've never had more than 2 foils & 2 boards on it. I've been on too many boats that had a ton of movement or completely failed due to how loaded the tower was & the pounding a boat takes in rough water. The Titan I & II may not be the sexiest tower under the sun, but IMO they seem to hold up the best. And frankly, I think they all look the same once their loaded up with gear, speakers & a bimini.

That Centurion is awesome. I am guessing they don't wakeboard much. No racks and a stripper pole. It is a nice party barge though and I bet is loud as hell.

I know to each his own.. I just dont understand why someone would spend all that money on a wake specific boat if they dont wakeboard? Personally if I was into the party scene and didnt ride, I would buy a 15k pontoon boat/stripper pole, BBQ, insane stereo, full bar.. that would be the ultimate ski beach boat

Too funny. We see those types of people here all the time. They may not have a dozen speakers on the tower or a stripper pole in the boat, but they spend more time partying, hanging out, & boozing then actually riding. To each their own is right. Gotta have one in every crowd. The funny thing is that those are the guys that will swear that their tower is rock solid, even with all the weight on it.

so that xstar has like 6-7grand in tower speakers alone right? that whole system would have to run 10-12k depending on whats inside? props to being able to lay down cash like that. i love successful people who spend their money. eye candy and motivation for me... lol

Here's Marty's previous boat. Personally, I think this is just about the limit that will still compliment the boat. Notice that double-sided collars are used to minimize the numbers plus collars with offset tabs are used to clear tower obstacles. Btw, Corey's Centurion with vertical columns of HollowPoints must be unbelievable! A vertical array is far more productive than a horizontal line. David Earmark Marine

I figured that system at a minimum of $35-$40K! It's probably more though.

Ewig did you "photoshop" a bumper out of that picture? And all those setups look awesome, although I would never want more than two board racks on my boat, because more people riding cuts down on my riding time .

Darren, the V210 is dead sexy. Could you tilt the upper rack more vertical so you could get the lower one just above horizontal?

Did having the regular coax wetsounds do anything for the stereo? It seems like they would just get completely drowned out by the 485's and the MB-8's. Did you add them just to fill up space?

I bet based on their position that it was better for the in boats but to the rider no way. Brady, you had those 650's in WS pods for a long time how did you get them so early? Also did you finally wind up selling that or trade in? I saw it on CL for a while. It was a nice boat and a damn nice stereo set up ta boot. ewing, how do you compare the sound of the WS vs Bullets?

Yes, It was very loud. But more important to me was the clean and clear sound. We had the 485's under the tower the year before and they were too bright inside the boat. We moved them onto the top of the tower last year and added the coax 6's and 8's to create a better sound inside the boat. IMO having speakers crossed over at different levels makes for a better all around sound. I like to have flexibility in use not just the loudest boat on the river. We also added volume controls for the upper tower, the lower tower, the cabin speakers, and for the sub. Depending on what we were doing depended on how we ran the system. That boat took 3 summers to dial it in. We are in the 1st phase of the process with the new boat.

Hate, Yes, we sold it to a guy in North Dakota. And the system definately sold the boat. The 650's in the Pro 60 pods was an idea we had last year to get that better sound around the boat when tieing up. They were not available from WS, but after our success I think Tim looked at the idea differently and low and behold now they are for sale.

I've been thinking about doing the same thing with the new Coax's from Bullet. We'll see tinker, tinker.

Hey Ryan...Does the flagship boat have a drop down LCD under the tower speakers? Or is that just storage?

Jeremy, I just had the lower 2 XM7's crossed over differently for the same reason. I will most likely do some volume controls this winter also. I am all for providing music for the rider but I like having the controls when we are just hanging out in the boat. It will for sure be a tinker, tinker winter.....Guess we will have to see what Santa brings...ha ha ha

In general, I wouldn't recommend installing dissimilar speaker types or sizes on the tower. If you double up your speakers with double the power, you can normally expect a 3 dB increase in output. However, dissimilar speakers sum less efficiently. With speakers of varying sensitivity and output, crossed over differently plus random phase responses, this isn't a cost-efficient route. If you throw enough speakers and power at a project its bound to get loud but you could have gotten much more with less invested. Of course there are always exceptions when the objective is different from efficiency or maximum output. A good design, proper tuning and an EQ should provide the flexibility and the best sound quality. Will send hard data on speaker summing if anyone wants it. David Earmark Marine

Thanks Brett we love it. I can't rotate the board rack because the bindings on the boards hit each other.
