Richard,
I tried to place a 12" sub in the footwell of my v215. Couldn't get one to fit and still get the size requirements for the enclosure. If you find a way I would love to know.

I have a 12" sub in my drivers foot well. It fits no prob. It is a RF punch stage 3. Uses a .85cf box. Hits really hard. I have no need for a second either. I have heard a few with the sub under the spotter's seat and it is not as loud. They were both port type boxes. Hope that helps.

I had a 12" sub in the compartment forward the passenger seat and noticed a big difference from when the flip-up seat was up vs. down. Therefore, in our new boat I put the sub in the bow walk-thru area. It's sounds a lot better.

Check it out at... http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/253629.html?1126402969

I'm leaving the kickpanel area open for heater install.
