Crystal River, Florida

I just went out there yesterday for the first time. I really liked the place, went diving in some cave and rode out to Shell Island. Really cool area. I saw other wake boats out there - where are some good spots to ride? Any of the bar / grills on the water any good?

Ted, ever been out to Silver River? I went kayaking there a couple of weekends ago. The water was amazing...crystal clear. Looked like a cool place to wakeskate, maybe behind a jetski...but the logs and obstacles in the water would keep me from putting my boat in there.

Where is Silver River? Is that by Silver Glen Spring? If it is, that area is pretty cool too.
I saw a spot that looked like people camped it on Shell Island at the mouth of the river in the ocean. It had a cleared out space in the middle of the island that looked like you could set up a tent. Ill look some more tomorrow.
