Here was what the water looked like yesterday on the delta. There were 2-4' waves, and we could only travel at 8-10 mph.

Didn't know the Delta could get like that.

If the wind is going straight down the channel, the delta can get really choppy.

Couldn't you find a channel running 90 degrees to the wind?

I can always find a good slough but not yesterday. I found 1 stretch about 200 yards long and tried it. Once you get air born your screwed, you don't have much control.

come to england if you want bad water conditions, the winter is beautiful for it.

you'd think it'd improve your riding, but it just gets you out of shape

Harry the summer is also great for bad water conditions here in blighty!

That water isn't too bad. Rode loads worse.
