I got this E-mail and I just copyed and pasted the Text,

This MTI was themed after a ZR1 Corvette with all the original GM parts used in the build purchased from GM dealers. The boat is constructed of carbon fiber. The black paint job is accented by carbon fiber airbrush work on the canopy and the entire hull of the boat. The exterior of the boat has ZR1 inspired hull sides, headlights, taillights, marker lights, custom ZR48 emblems and engine vents. The cockpit is truly one of a kind. The cockpit hatches are a custom gull wing type that have built-in escape hatches. The canopy also has an electric sliding rear window. The custom dash has fully function gauges, a custom ZR1 steering wheel and shifter. The custom shifter throttles both engines and controls drive trim. The interior is ultra leather and suede, with six air conditioned seats. The driver and throttle man’s seat are power sliding with footrests. The air conditioning is provided by a 24K BTU cruise air marine A/C system. The entire cockpit area is accented by custom Lumiflex and LED lighting.

A true state-of-the-art sound system was installed which includes a custom engine block bow speaker pod with LED accent lights. The pod lifts electronically from the deck. The pod has 8 Focal K2 coaxial speakers and 2 horns, 2 Kicker Solo Baric 10-inch subs in custom matched ported boxes firing into the cockpit, aft-mounted speaker pods, custom amp cooling system, Apple TV with Wi-Fi network, custom iPad dock integrated into the ZR1 glove box and a separate volume control for the subs, cockpit and exterior sound. The total sound system is 8000 watts RMS. The uniquely designed engine bays are loaded with carbon fiber trim, LED and Lumiflex lighting, custom ZR48 badging and bulkhead accent panels. The accessories are powered by a 4.2 kW Fischer Panda Diesel Genset. The power for this monster comes from two Mercury Racing 1350 HP twin-turbo engines with number 8 drives. The engines are accented with ZR1 type supercharger covers, giving the engines a proper Corvette themed appearance. This one-of-a-kind boat has won many awards and is truly every Corvette enthusiasts “Dream Boat”.

TRAILER

This rolling masterpiece is in a class all by itself. This boat trailer is equipped with a generator, water tank, power washer, engine flush system and five televisions. The trailer is designed to tilt to make an oversize boat legal to transport on its side, thus not requiring an over width permit to haul. This trailer was designed to be the ultimate display trailer. The large cargo box with raising lid houses five TVs and a DVD player. This trailer has a stainless steel floor, 900+ LED lights and blue-neon lights mounted to the frame above and below the frame rails. The air ride suspension allows the boat to ride on a cushion of air with the added capability to deflate or overinflate each of the four axles. This boat trailer is accessorized by billet aluminum steps, stainless steel fenders, chrome hand rails, hydraulic landing gear and custom paint.

Neat, but too much new age luxury for my tastes. I'd much prefer a vintage Donzi or Liberator. Classic styling and no BS is where it's at.

It lives down at Legendary Marine in Destin, FL. We see it out every once in a while. It is a pretty cool piece of hardware. And it could all be your's for the low price of 1.7 million.

Interesting they went with mercury drives instead of arnesons on an mti.

That thing is pretty badass. I wonder if it comes with a matching Class 8 truck like the Mercedes boat. They also have the Ferrari F44 boat.

Big D, MTI uses those BPM drives on some of their boats but aren't #6's still the standard. At least if it is a pleasure boat and not a race boat. Those #6's are huge looking.

That rig stole the show at the Desert Storm poker run in Havasu last year and I expect it to do the same this year. There is a street fair in which they line both sides of the street with trucks/boats and vendors. It's very difficult to stand out when there are probably 25+ $1-1.5 million dollar rigs in attendance but those guys pulled it off.

The boat itself is amazing but to get an idea of how deep the owner rolls you have to look at what's involved when he rolls into town.

-fully custom Peterbuilt truck
-low profile tilt trailer with 4 axles ($250k+)
-flat screen tv's on lift actuators which raise from trailer storage box
-support semi truck with custom trailer. 1/3 for carrying spare parts/tools and the rest converted into mobile nightclub with fully stocked bar, stereo system, lighting, Dj booth, etc
-$500k 36' Cigarette center console with 4 350hp outboards whose sole purpose is to take photos running side by side and provide on the water support
-helicopter for aerial footage to be played on the 60" tv's on the boat trailer
-don't forget an actual zr-1 corvette that travels with them for display purposes only lol

I've got some photos I'll post up later.

To answer the question on why Merc outdrives VS arneson....the 1350 package includes the m8 drive which is even stronger than the #6 and can handle the power. It also comes with the transmission which would need to be sourced separately for an arneson install. Although I'm sure if you ordered an MTI they would gladly put on whatever set up you wanted so long as the check cleared lol

Oh ya, msrp on each 1350 package with m8 outdrive is $200k. That doesn't include the prop which can be anywhere from $5k-25k each!
