I am thinking about tinting my windows on my X15. I have seen one or two with limo tint but haven't seen any with the medium tint or the lightest tint. I think it would still look sweet as the lightest tint but still be practical. I was hoping to see if anyone else has gone with the lighter tints instead of limo tint. Pictures would be nice and personal experiences with tinted windows on there boat. Thanks Josh

I've got limo on mine, at dawn and dusk it can be a little hard to see out. Any other time it's not really any different than having sunglasses on.

that may be the most bangup photoshop job ever..lol

I'm not sure how I feel about tinted windshields...they look pimp, but there is just too much in the water where I live to justify it.

Man tinted windows look sweet!

Hey Matt what tint did you do on your windows? It looks good!

Brady- that boat looks sweet. Big difference between day and dusk. 30% is that the lightest tint or in the between lightest and limo?

Thanks
Josh

This was our 06 - we used the lightest tint possible with a touch of mirror in it.

It was a really nice job, we were able to see through it no worries, it kind of looks darker than it really is.

Did they Have to remove your windows or can it be done just like a car. I'm thinking of having it done to my boat.

On mine, they took the windows out. IMO, that's the only way you are going to get it to look right. I've heard about people doing it without taking the windows out.

post a picture of your boat -- it takes like 2 minutes to run it through photoshop.

I love the boat with the windows tinted! That looks sick!!!!! Also i got a call today from my tint shop and they had a cancelation so this coming monday i get the windows tinted!!! Not i just need to figure out what tint shade i am going with. I like the limo tint but doesn't seem like it will be practical (for my needs) so that leaves medium tint and lightest tint. For those with 30% tint how hard is it to see out of during the day and then at dusk? Do you now drive looking above the windows since you got it tinted? Thanks Josh

5% great during the day, but you have to look over the windshield once the sun starts to go down. By the way this is my second tint job on the same boat, another plus of the tint is it holds most of the glass together when you break a windshield LOL. I also re powdercoated the frame while the window was out, and it looks much better, originally it was only painted and much of the paint was chipping off.
