Well that makes it tough for a pick up Hockey game.
But this means we'll have ice for weeks.

...and for some reason we Canadians think that's a good thing.

I love the beach shot!
One way to avoid cold water head plants. Although it may have other head plant problems...

I wish I could post a March Wakesurf pic but we don't have a boat at the moment. Our new Enzo is coming in 2 1/2 weeks. Temps are around 4 C water and air, waiting with a drysuit to start the season in a short while. Did you surf every now and then all winter through Surfdad ? We're still snowboarding. I'll post some pics once we start the season.

The Roam on the shore is nuts! :-) Hey Becci, long time no hear! I'll bet you are anxious to get that new Enzo. My plan for this year was to surf at least once each month. The family was trading a cold back and forth in February so we missed our goal. Principally if you weren't out to have "fun" :-) you could surf every month here in Norcal. We've been snowboarding most weekends since about December. We do what we call "double board weekends" through April, where we'll hit the slopes on Saturday and take the boat out on Sunday.

I'm looking forward to seeing your new Enzo, be sure to post pictures!

Water Temp. 36 degrees, Air Temp. 50 degrees maybe, snow on the hills still in the background no problem, Today summer started for me the ice melted 5 days ago. My first ride since Jan. in So. Cal on my new Triple X wakesurf board the 4'6" Slasher Pro X series. Life is just a FANTASAY!!!

You guys and girls in the wetsuits are hard-core!! I live in the tropics so can wear boardies (trunk it) all year round - although it can get a little cold in the dry season (mid to low 20 deg celcius) heres a couple from today and also the warning sign that is the downside to where I live

That boardcam shot right there is COOL.

Once again, Dennis is my hero for trunking.

I had to laugh at the boardcam shots - James' are all aerials and hitting the lip. All mine the board is underwater, me swimming or staring into the camera sort of doing this "is it working?" look. :-) I love the seagulls in the sky in this picture I think they are waiting to see if they can eat me! :-)

Still haven't gotten out on the lake yet and it will probably be a little longer after breaking a couple ribs on Thursday.

Here's a framegrab I took from last week in Laguna
