Hey looking for some knowledge . I am looking at a 2007 X-Star Used, and they have 215 hours on it. What do you think is a fair price??? I know it has been properly maintained, but also think that is used for more than just recreational purpose. ANYTHING will help.

Without the engine and other options, it is impossible to guess.

My Bad- 350HP 5.7liter MCX. 4 Tower Speaker, No Lights, Bimini Top, Towing Cover, Perfect Pass, Tow Mirror, and Dual Axle Trailer.
My only true concern is the Hours... is that alot?

I know a guy who just bought a new 07 leftover for around 65K plus tax and tags. It did have MCX, no tower speakers or tower lights were about all it didn't have.

Im not a mastercraft expert, but if the oil was changed and the trans fluid was changed along with other stuff. 215 hour in one year is not that big of a deal. I would rather have someone have used the boat and maintained it correctly then let it sit and not used it.

215 hours is nothing if they took care of it properly. That engine is good for 1500-2500 hours if taken care of properly.

Listen to Leo, he know what he is talking about. You will have more wear and tear on the interior of a boat with 1000+ hours on it than the engine & Trans, as long as it was taken care of properly. BTW, I bought my 05 X-2 out of the MC Demo Program almost two years ago. It had 560 hrs on it. I have put 200 more on it and have not had any trouble with anything. There are MC ex-pro boats with that engine & Trans out there with 1500+ hours on them that have never had any issues either. If you could buy that boat in the $50K-$60K price, you would be getting a good to great deal.

I think you that you should be able to pick it up in the 58 to 63 range. I would not want to spend more than that. I got a great deal at the last year on an 06 with a few hrs on it. Close outs should start to happen in a few weeks, or wait a few months. December is a great time to buy a boat.

I just sold this boat for 67 on the trailer. MCX,Heater,Bow Filler,Front Boarding Ladder,Cockpit Table,Battery Charger,Sirius Radio,4 TowerSpeakers,Bimini,Tandem Axle Trailer. 180Hrs. To help give you an idea. Maintenance is everything, if the boat received the proper scheduled maintenance I would not worry about the hours.

Read it again rG,

He said 55, not 65. Sounds like some type of Summer Savings promotion or "Back to School - This Boat is Cool" event....Hey, saving $10,000 is a lot of gas.

rG,

Like Kevin said, you must be talking about a different boat...Unless I'm blind, and reading the wrong post, if you look above, Lee states, and I quote: "55k on a trailer 2007 Super Air 210 Team 330hp. They sell for 65k all day..

I take that sentence to mean that he is letting them go for 55, that's $55,000 dollars while others are selling them for 65, that's $65,000 dollars...should I slow down

If you are talking about the MasterCraft, then ignore my last post.

rG,

Sorry, I didn't catch the on topic comment. I see now that you are talking about Ewing's post. My bad. Either way, 65 for an X-Star or 55 for a Super..someone will save some pocket change.

They should ban Lee from the site for messin' up this MasterCraft post with that shady car salesman Nautique offer!!

Also, I already wear glasses.

rG boat was bought at a new MC dealer in NE PA. I thought it sounded like a pretty good deal on a new X-star.

Try Sterling Marina on lake Ariel in PA. I think they have an X2 left. Maybe do a search on boattrader that could help also. They also have a used SE VLX for sale that is very nice also.
