Am looking to get a new boat. Upgrading from IO. We are intermediate wakeboarders and beginning surfers. Most important thing is reliability and quality (well built not bling) and minimal maintenance. Based primarily on quality of local dealers have narrowed it down to calabria pro v or pro v2 or malibu vlx. Love the looks and monsoon on malibu but it is much more expensive. Like the pro v2 (price ballast, room) but concerned about interior gunwale only 23 inches. Any suggestions on boats. May also consider cc 210 TE.
Thanks for the help

Calabrias are huge inside, great fit and finish too. Have been out in one or anything else?

Calabrias are very nice and a good price. The vlx has a great wake that's very versatile, handles like a sports car (with the wedge up). With the vlx you can have a rampy wake or a more verticle wake. You can get an 05 VLX for the same price as an 06/07 calabria, just look around.

I've ridden both. I own an 06 vlx and my buddy owns the calabria. I think you will be happy with either one. Make a pro and con list for each boat. For some reason it is easier for me to make decisions that way.

Thanks for the help. It's good to know that no matter which boat we buy we will be happy. Thanks.
