I've never used a tower, but I know my pylon helped a ton....and it only cost me $35 to build!

It helps for sure! Although it might also be because every tower I ride is a 40k wakeboard boat and every boat I ride without a tower is a 20k pleasure boat.

I wouldn't be able to pull off my tossed chicken salad nut sack whack attack to blind without one.

My friend told me that the best part about going from a bass boat to an x-star was the tower. The pull from high was the biggest help.

It would be recklessly irresponsible of me to illustrate that move without assurance from you that your skills are up to the task. Can you land a tripple dipple fakie blind tuna wrap? If not, you're not ready.

Back to the topic.....when me and my crew were first learning (Last July) we had no tower and took me about 15 tries to get up. My wife the same, and my older brother never did get up w/o a tower. In August or Sep we bought a boat with a Skylon pole and all of the sudden my brother is getting up. With the pole the boat would lean and sway with a hard pull, so then we added a tower and sold off the pole. Boat handles better, no pole vibrations, and everybody is riding. And thats how I landed my first switch off axis to blind 1440. Now where's that vid.....??? My boats a 20k wannabe wakeboard boat. It's currently in the shop getting PP installed.
