Red light above stereo Sanger V230

What is the red light above the stereo for? I know it comes on when the engine is first started and then goes off.

Ours was acting funny though. It would stay on for a while and then go off, or it would flicker like there was a loose connection and then go off. The water was pretty choppy and rough and sometimes when we bounced around it would go on and off, it was weird.

Any Thoughts?

V Drive oil pressure warning light. Should be on at idle, and go off by 1200 rpm's or so.

If its on above idle speeds then you have to worry otherwise its working correctly.

Ok great, thanks, I'll check to make sure there is enough oil in the V Drive.
