I recently installed a third amp in my boat and it blew the fuse. I now have a Alpine pdx 600.4, a Jl Audio MHD 600.4 and a Jl Audio 500/1. The current 80 amp fuse is obviously too small and I want to install a circuit breaker instead. Anyone know what size I should use? Also anyone have any feedback on what amp to use for the in boats and what for the tower. Thanks in advance.

What size cable (trunk line) is feeding the amps? You dont want to over-fuse the cable.

Cant make an amp recommendation without knowing what they will be driving, so additional info is needed.

The main power line is the thickness of a large battery cable and 4 feet long max to the dist block, right now the jl 600.4 drives 4 diamond audio hex 600a's and the alpine drives 2 pro 60s. The jl 500 drives a jl 10w6. I want to upgrade to the rev 8s but convincing my wife why it needs to be louder isn't a easy task. Thanks
