So I have heard alot of folks say (and the instruct vids) that if you are not doing a scarecrow just like a frontroll, handle in tight, then it is incorrect. I have also heard alot of folks say they think it looks alot better laid out. So I was just curious what everyones opinion was. I do mine laid out, but have been trying to bring it in tighter to get a little better form.

I don't like it as much thrown out the back like that. In the video the board never really gets over your head. That is just my opinion though but nice job on landing it!

Obviously frontrolls would be very hard for you with that type of rotation. To each his own though and I'm not trying to rip your riding. Keep that handle down though and that should help.

I think that looks pretty good. I have my handle in closer but your looks pretty sweet laid out like that.

That's how I do mine, but its even more laid out. When i started learning I decided that i wanted to do a toeside flip, so i went in and laid out just like a raley, and it just so happened that my board came around and now I do a really laid out scarecrow.

personally i think they look heaps sloppy when they are out the back like that. fry to do a front roll with a late 180. it will force you to go over the front better rather than out the back. you can get awey with the trick like this but at the end of the day you will never be able to prgress the trick to a grabbed crow or a crow mobe. the rotation out the back just wont allow it. sure it works, but it doesnt help your overall riding.

i used to do crows laid out like that and the landings were hard for me at times....the best advice i can give is off the wake go for either a mute or a slob grab with ur back hand...whether u actually get the grab or not doesn't matter..the foward lean will help u roll forward first then 180
