This is a picture of me trying to do my 360:

Let me know if you see anything that may help me out. I don't know why I dipped my front foot right at the end, but when I'm really concentrating on the handle pass that happens. If I don't think about the pass then I land and ride away just without the handle. Thanks guys

360 attempt

You need to stand tall coming off the wake.

after you get the handle then you must look down to spot your landing. be careful not to look down until you get the handle otherwise you will start going off axis. good luck, its a tricky one

Keep your elbows in on your cut. Look how far away the handle is from your body. That should help make the handle pass easier.

Cool pic. Pop-Pull-Pass…

I’m not landing 3’s… but do ride with a number of people that do… having watched others from the boat…

It looks to me like your arms are straight at your approach to the wake with the handle a bit too far away from you body (2nd frame)…. As you leave the wake you can see you are a bit off axis with your right arm pulling away from your body. (4th and 5th frame)

Keep the handle in a bit more on the approach… and pull the handle with both hands at the top of your jump before you start to pass the handle. The “tug” on the handle should give you just enough slack. 5th-7th frame you can see the handle is just out of reach.

Close!

Thanks guys...I never noticed that I had the handle that far away from my body on my cut in. Guess I'll be working on that in the near future. Another good reason to go some more.

any other thoughts?

Look at your head. You need to be looking in the direction you are spinning (over your shoulder). If you don't look, you stop spinning.

At the point where your back is to the boat, you should have the handle passed. The pass to your front hand then pulls you through the last 180.

Kevin, what stands out when I look at your sequence is that you are leaning away from the boat on the launch. This generates force that pulls the handle away from your body. If you look at my sequence you'll notice that I come off the wake very vertical. This will ease the tension on the rope and allow you to pull the handle in. You are simply not able to manage the handle because you are playing tug of war with the boat. And that's why you are yanked over when you land.

Get vertical and stand tall!

John is right about leaning away from the boat. Come off your edge a little as you pop and the line tension will decrease. Try to get to this position:

what john and j-rod said, take a softer edge into the wake and make sure you leave the wake standing tall. Try to keep your arms just like john has shown.
One thing I've learned this summer is how you leave the wake... is determined by your edge and that determines how you land, what happens in the air is easy...
