Anyone got any good ideas on how to build a sick rail or slider? maybe on a floating dock?? PVC tubing the way to go or wood?

pvc....There was a article on a big ole rainbow slider a while back. thats got instructions and all....look it up

Bro, pvc is a pain in the ass. Use fiberon decking, check it at home depot. It is more expensive, but it is worth it. Look it the latest issue of wakeboarding mag for instructions from Pat panakos, the rail designer expert himself. Or email me if you want some more help or design ideas.

Thanks man, we need all the help we can get, we can't keep it out on the lake, so everytime we want to use it, we have to drag it out onto the lake...

Hey I just got your email. It went into my junk mail for some reason. Let me know what kind of rail you are looking for and I will offer my suggestions......I have built a bunch of rails, so i have a little experience. I had the same problem as not being able to leave the rail at the lake, so mine were all at least somewhat portable.
